The natural evolution of creation
The founders of Genesis Illustration & Design are of Celtic heritage. Sean’s family roots are in Brittany and Aprils in Ireland. Both Sean and April are not only proud of their Celtic roots, but love exploring the natural world through camping, hiking and photography.
When they were married, they celebrated their union with a camping trip and their first as an official couple was the Celtic Family Jamboree held at Sertoma Youth Ranch in Inverness Florida. Though not a traditional honeymoon, at this event was both an opportunity to celebrate their common Celtic heritage and begin exploring the natural world together. This was the perfect beginning for their marriage and has been a yearly tradition ever since.
A good beginning
Tus maith leath na hoibre is an Irish proverb that means: A good beginning is half the work.
With a good beginning to their marriage, Sean and April founded Genesis Illustration & Design based on the same Irish proverb. The biblical Book of Genesis is also about a good beginning, the beginning of creation.
Genesis Illustration & Design is a design studio that was founded to provide creative services and merchandise to organizations that do not have internal creative resources.
We create graphics and merchandise such as logos, T-shirts, decals, flags, and other merchandise for your needs. Both Sean and April are experienced photographers and are available for event photography and video, product photography, and select portrait or artistic photography. We specialize in wild life photography and have a library of stock images available for subscribers.
We founded the Wild Life® brand of clothing and lifestyle merchandise out of our own passion for wildlife in the natural world and to celebrate the lifestyle of those who share our passion. If you are a home schooling parent, educator, or life long learner interested in wild animals we are currently designing educational materials and outdoor educational activities in the local Tampa Bay community and hope to expand into central Florida with the same.
We are by no means limited to the short list of creative projects listed above. We don’t believe in creative limits in our studio and invite you to contact us with any ideas you have; lets explore possibilities together.
